Comfortable rooms, very centrally located in a non-touristy neighborhood.
Internet was not free.
The staff was very helpful, taking pictures of my girlfriend and making checkout/breakfast The close proximity to the Bahn was key and the neighborhood was quiet and comfortable, but still with enough archiecture to look at and shops & restaurants to visit.
The price was difficult to accept, but that is the nature of Oktoberfest weekends I suppose. Otherwise, I have no complaints of substance.
Location was good enough. Near the lehel Subway station and right around teh corner from a tram stop. Rooms were comfy and quiet enough as well. No complaints from me on this hoetl at all.
A good position for the centre of Munich
Good, quiet location; very close to an U-Bahn station (Lehel) and close to the center of town; small supermarket on the nearest street corner; a number of restaurants within a few blocks; friendly, helpful staff; comfortable room with large bathroom; excellent value for Munich. I speak German but I got the impression that they would have been fine speaking English.
As one other person has noted, if you are on the top (fourth) floor the internet connection can be quite weak. I was in Room 410 and the only way I could get the connection to work was to place my laptop on the small night stand closest to the door to the room. The staff expressed a willingness to move me to a lower floor, but I had a "superior" room and liked it so much that I decided to stay in it and live with the weak signal (which was sufficient for both email and Skype).
Walking distance to the main tourist attractions. Clean and tidy, good breakfast range on offer.
Clean and comfortable
4 person "apartment" is a bit small for the price paid.
Very quiet location. Though not in the centre, not far from it; no need to use subway or tram. Nice room, separate wc and bath rooms. Friendly staff, english-speaking. Child's bed was one of the best I've ever seen.
Lift!!! It's simply impossible to handle suitcases with that lift when you still need to overcome three staircases. If you have a lot of luggage this hotel is not for you. Breakfast is overpriced but there is no decent place for it nearby. WiFi Internet works strange. Sometimes it's fast but sometimes it stucks. Improper behaviour for serious work. Only if it were for free it would be acceptable...
Outstanding service of all employees. Good arranged parking possibilities. Very quite at night which surprises us.
The location is very good, near senter and famose Englischen Garten! Rooms are very comfortable & big. Services, breackfast also we like very much. We plan to stay again in January!
Location was perfect.
You could hear a lot of noise when someone was in the hallway or even in the room next door.
The location and the Reception guy! Completely funny and polite, every hotel should have someone like this guy! Unfortunately I don'T remember his name.
The price because Oktoberfest was like a 5 start Hotel on normal days. :(
The service was amazing! Super friendly and helpful, I would stay again just for the front of house staff.
It was in a nice area and not far from the city center.
It was pretty expensive (360€/night), even if it was Oktoberfest in Munich. For that price, it would've been nice if more amenities were include (like internet, breakfast, etc).
They booked all the ecomeny rooms and upgraded us for free. The staff can helpwith just about anything. Nice breakfast but expensive.
